All XUV500 timing chain kits sold by PartsGuru are OEM-grade. Any defective or incorrectly shipped product will be replaced free of charge. The kit does not include a water pump — please order separately if needed.

2 Pricing & Payment

Price: ₹4,999 — GST included. No hidden charges. Payment options: COD (T&C above apply), UPI, Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking. Price is valid for 30 days from date of website publication.

3 Shipping & Delivery

• Standard delivery: 3–6 business days pan-India (Sundays & public holidays excluded)
• Free shipping on orders above ₹1,000. Below ₹1,000: flat ₹99 shipping charge
• Heavy-duty packaging used — kit components are individually protected
• Order tracking shared via SMS and WhatsApp after dispatch
• Delivery delays due to courier issues are communicated proactively

4 Return & Refund Policy (10-Day)

Returns accepted if:

• Return is initiated within 10 days of delivery
• Product is unused, unopened, and in original factory packaging
• No installation, seal removal, or component use has occurred
• Original order receipt is provided

Refund timeline: After inspection (2–3 days), refund is issued within 5–7 business days to the original payment method. Manufacturing defects receive free replacement + free return shipping.

5 Installation Clause

• Timing chain replacement requires a qualified mechanic or engine specialist
• Incorrect installation can cause serious engine damage — professional installation is mandatory

• Engine damage resulting from improper installation is not covered under warranty
• Timing marks must be correctly aligned during installation — refer to vehicle service manual

6 Warranty Terms

• 1-Year warranty from date of purchase — manufacturing defects covered
• Covers: chain failure, tensioner defect, sprocket defect, guide rail crack (manufacturing origin)
• Not covered: Engine damage from improper installation, normal wear, accident damage, modifications, or damage from running the engine without oil
• Warranty claim: WhatsApp photo/video to +91 99061 04663 — response within 24 hours

7 Compatibility Disclaimer

This kit is designed for Mahindra XUV500 (2.2L mHawk Diesel, 2011–2021). It is not compatible with XUV300, XUV700, Scorpio, Bolero, or any other model. Damage caused by fitting on an incompatible vehicle will not be covered. Confirm compatibility on WhatsApp before ordering.

8 Water Pump Exclusion

The water pump is explicitly excluded from this kit. The kit price of ₹4,999 covers only the timing chain, tensioner, guides, sprockets, and hardware. If you require a water pump, it must be purchased as a separate item. PartsGuru is not responsible for orders where a water pump was expected but not included, as this exclusion is clearly disclosed at the point of sale.

9 Cancellation Policy

• Before dispatch (within 2 hours of ordering): Free cancellation — full refund
• After dispatch: Return policy applies — see Section 4
• COD advance amounts (if any) refunded within 5–7 business days

11 Dispute Resolution

12 Force Majeure

In the event of natural disasters, courier strikes, or government-mandated restrictions, delivery may be delayed. Customers will be notified with a revised timeline. A full refund option will be available if the delay is not acceptable.
